Vacancy for rotating equipment, reliability & inspection engineer (KSA)

Our client is searching rotating equipment engineer & reliability & inspection engineer having experience in petrochemical or refining industry.

Senior Rotating Equipment Engineer

Duties and Responsibilities:

1. Provide technical support related to QC/QA for stationary rotating equipment on maintenance, operations and project activitiess.
Defines design requirements consistent with Sipchem Engineering Standards.
2. Identifies rotating equipment bad actors and develops permanent solutions.
3. Leads root cause analysis on the various equipment failures and develops permanent solutions.
4. Leads trouble shooting efforts for rotating equipment related issues.
5. Optimizes predictive preventive maintenance program for rotating equipment.
6. Reviews commissioning procedures for compressors and pumps.
Witnessing of pre-commissioning and commissioning activities.

Qualifications:

1. BS Degree in Mechanical Engineering.
2. Minimum 108 years of experience as rotating engineer in the petrochemical, refining industry.
3. Vibration analysis certification Category III (ISO 18436) is a plus.
4. Master degree is a plus.
5. Good PC/Computer skills.
6. Good command of English language.
7. Advance level on "Champion for change"
8. Advance level on impact and influence.


RELIABILITY AND INSPECTION ENGINEER


MAJOR DUTIES / RESPONSIBILITIES:
1. Ensure mechanical reliability of a new grass-roots petrochemical plant using state-of-the-art methods for predictive and preventive maintenance.
2. Oversight of all corrosion and metallurgical related issues with regard to static equipment.
3. Reviewing of equipment inspection reports (i.e. vessels, pipework, etc.) and make recommendations and repair procedures and improvements, as needed.
4. Develop reliability program for inspection and maintenance of all static equipment in a world-scale petrochemical plant.
5. Inspect, record and report findings for static equipment, rotating equipment, welding and refractory.
6. Assist in developing and implementing ongoing measures to identify and mitigate corrosion of vessel, pipework, pipelines and structural systems.


QUALIFICATIONS AND EXPERIENCE:

1. B. S. Degree in Mechanical Engineering
2. 10+ years experience in reliability and non-destructive testing in chemicals and manufacturing.
3. Certified Welding Inspector
4. Good communication skills, Fluent in English.
5. Ability to work well in a team environment.

OTHER REQUIREMENTS:

1. Experience in SAP is a strong plus.
2. Experience in ISO 9000 / TQM.
3. Inspection and quality control experience in plant construction is a plus.
4. Experience QA/QC and NDT for refractory installation is a plus.
5. Experience working in the Middle East is a plus.
